How featured listings work
Most directories quietly sell the top spots and let couples assume they're recommendations. We won't. Here is exactly what a paid placement does — and does not — buy on Vows & Valleys.

What “Featured” will get you
- Top placement in your category and region, above the standard listings.
- A tasteful Featured badge — so couples know it's a paid spot.
- Room for more photos and a fuller profile.
What it will never do
- Disguise itself. A featured listing is always labelled. It never masquerades as an editorial pick or a “top choice”.
- Buy a review. We don't sell reviews, ratings or fake praise.
- Hide your competitors. Every other genuine local supplier stays listed, in plain sight, right below.
- Silently outrank honesty. Paid placement sits on top of the honest list — clearly marked — never woven invisibly into it.
Why we do it this way
Couples can smell a pay-to-play directory a mile off, and once they do they stop trusting every listing on it. An honest directory is worth more to you too: when a couple believes the list, a spot on it actually means something. That trust is the whole product — we're not going to trade it for a few featured slots.
